How it Works:

We are out of network and do not accept any private insurances. Moreover, there are certain federal regulations that force us to charge more than we would like for routine care (usually between $200-$420). In an effort to make our services available to everyone who needs us, we have partnered with an organization called Efficient Care Solutions (ECS) that allows us to cap the cost of visits at our office for anyone who is covered by a membership. The ECS membership is only $15/year and covers your whole family, and it allows us to cap the cost of your care at our office at $160 for new patient visits and $60 for most returning visits (see below). We highly recommend that almost all of our patients sign up for the ECS membership on their first visit if they are not already covered by a family member’s membership, because it will usually save you more than the cost of the membership on that visit alone and save much more on returning visits as your treatment continues.

We do this because it is the best way to keep the cost of our care low for our patients and still comply with federal regulations. The cost of a returning visit varies depending on the services performed. A regular returning visit includes adjustments of the spine and extremities, hot/cold packs and re-exams as needed and is capped at $60. Additional units of therapy modalities including MRT/IASTM/Cupping, Dry Needling, neuromuscular re-education, therapeutic exercises, ultrasound, and electric stim increase the cap by $40/unit. This allows us to keep the cost of care low for our regular patient’s who need a quick “tune-up” and charge fairly for our more complicated patients who require significantly more treatment.

To summarize: the cost of the membership is only $15/year, and makes the cost for the new patient visits $160 and returning visits $60 + $40 for each additional therapy, so your cost will be between $60-$220 depending on if it is your first visit or a follow-up and whether you already have a ECS membership or are covered under a family member’s membership.

A note about Medicare: As chiropractors, we are not legally allowed to opt out of Medicare, and while we do not accept payment from them, they do change the fees somewhat for the spinal adjustment only. The cost of the spinal adjustment for people with Medicare varies from $29.32-$42.35, but with the addition of almost any other service we offer it will still benefit you to use the ECS membership mentioned above to cap the rate of your visit at the prices above.

If you have Medicare, we need you to bring your insurance card so we can verify your benefits and see how to correctly charge you and bill your claim.

As of 11/01/21 we no longer submit claims to insurance companies other than traditional Medicare. If you would like to submit your own claim to your insurance company for reimbursement, we will be happy to furnish you with a superbill that contains the information you will need within 5 business days of your request.

Please also note that you have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

- You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

- Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

- If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

- Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
