We understand and love the fact that every person is unique. If a patient's condition presents differently than most cases, then they should be respectively treated with a variety of treatments tailored to that condition. There is sadly no one answer for all questions and we understand there is no single treatment option for all conditions.

Therapeutic rehab exercises

A variety of chiropractic treatments

  • Diversified Technique: One of the most common forms of joint manipulative therapy, that uses a high-velocity low-amplitude (quick-short) thrust into a joint that exhibits restricted range of motion to help decrease inflammation, relieve pain, and help improve blood flow.

  • Activator: An instrument that is loaded into a controlled fashion that delivers a gentle force into the affected joint.

  • Flexion-Distraction: A manual gentle pull on the spine to help relieve the internal spinal pressures on the discs, joints, and spinal nerves. This is especially effective when treating neurological issues such as radiculopathy (pinched nerve) and spinal stenosis.

  • Gonstead: A technique that focuses on seated adjustments and correcting biomechanical dysfunctions of the upper neck.

  • Drop Technique: Uses a drop away table to put the joint in a state of free fall for a split second which requires less force to perform the adjustment. This technique is especially useful for patients who cannot tolerate Diversified adjusting.

  • Blocking: One of the most gentle techniques that uses padded blocks and the body's own weight to correct restrictions of the joints in the pelvis. This technique takes more time but is very soothing. It is especially useful for pregnant patients or those who cannot tolerate rapid movements.

State of the art therapies to help you get well

  • Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS/E-Stim/TENS) uses low volt electrical current to reduce pain and inflammation, increase blood flow, reduce muscle spasm and promote faster healing.

  • Myofascial Release Technique (MRT) is used to treat skeletal muscle immobility and pain by relaxing contracted muscles (trigger points).

  • Physiotherapy and rehab exercises; excellent for retraining muscles especially when recovering from auto accidents and post-operation and many other conditions.

  • Moist Heat Therapy penetrates deeper into the muscles than dry heat allowing them to relax, regain mobility, alleviate pain and stiffness.

  • Instrumented Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization Therapy uses a blunt surgical grade stainless steel tool to break up soft tissue adhesions (knots in muscle), increase blood flow, to help improve the tissue function.

  • Spinal Traction Therapy helps to decompress joints and decrease inflammation from irritated nerves.

  • Dry Needling reduces pain and inflammation, aids in tissue regeneration, and helps correct connective tissue disorders in muscles, tendons and ligaments. Find out more on our Dry Needling FAQ.
